Followers. How do I see that?

I’ve been searching for hours trying to figure it out. All my blogspot friends have the cool “followers” widget that is REALLY helpful for indicating what your traffic looks like. How do I do this on wordpress? What do you call it?

You can post a Facebook badge in your sidebar. http://en.support.wordpress.com/facebook-badge/You can also enable sharing buttons on your posts, pages and index pages.
Also note the “like” button.

Please link your WordPress.com blog to your WordPress.com username. Dashboard -> Users -> Personal Settings -> then scroll down to Account Details. Then scroll down to where it says ‘Website‘ select the URL for your primary wordpress.com blog and then save changes.
Now every time you sign into the forum we can all click on your username and your blog will be linked to it. And every time you leave a comment on a blog your username can be likewise clicked and your blog can be instantly located.

Best wishes to you.”I don’t think it’s displaying the little widget, but rather when I’m searching new blogs (and admittedly, trying to get new followers to my own), one thing I look for is to see how many followers someone else has. If they only have a few, there’s usually a reason (unless it’s a new blog). For someone who doesn’t have tons of time, it’s generally a good quick indicator of whether or not I want to skim around that blog and follow it myself. I’m guessing I’m not alone in this. Is there a reason WordPress (which is otherwise fabulous in my opinion) doesn’t have something like this?

We Volunteers do not have an answer to that question so you will have to ask Staff.
We have “like” buttons on WordPress.com blogs and we can subscribe to other WordPress.com blogs very easily.
