Followers migration tool shows no wordpress.com sites to choose
-
Hello everybody,
I have the same problem than here: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/migration-tool-shows-no-wordpresscom-options
I am trying to use the subscription migration tool as a part of jetpack to move my subscribers from http://comunicacioncientifica.wordpress.com (redirected to ccs.upf.edu) to http://ccs.upf.edu.
I go to the page and under “Move Followers From A WordPress.com Site”, there is a pull down menu with no options for wordpress.com sites.
Is there something I am missing? I already activated and connected my jetpack plugin to my wordpress.com account.
I also tried the process disabling the redirect but it’s still not working.
Could you help me to migrate my followers please?
Thank you very much for your help in advance.
CCS team.

Hi there. The trouble is that you’re connected to Jetpack using a different WordPress.com account. You’ll want to connect Jetpack using the same account that is on your WordPress.com site, then you’ll be able to migrate followers. I hope that helps!

Hi Velda,
Thank you very much for your response.
I’m logged in WordPress.com and comunicacioncientifica.wordpress.com with the account A, then I go to ccs.upf.edu and I log in with account B that is different than account A.
I connect ccs.upf.edu to wordpress.com through Jetpack and I can manage both sites but I still can’t migrate my followers.
When you say “Can you log into the site using the account associated with comunicacioncientifica.wordpress.com?” I assume that site is ccs.upf.edu but I don’t have any account associated with comunicacioncientifica.wordpress.com if I don’t do it through jetpack.
I don’t understand what I’m doing bad or what’s happening.
Could you help me please?
I appreciate your help and patience.

Hi there, I’m sorry I missed your response. Can you try this? Go to comunicacioncientifica.wordpress.com/wp-admin and log in. Then in another tab, disconnect and reconnect Jetpack. We’ll go from there.
