Followers mostly back – still not where it was before

Assuming that the followers fix is complete now, prior to whatever happened, through Jetpack stats, we were showing 867 followers and now we are showing 829 followers. Is there any way to find out what the source of that discrepancy is?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The blog you specified at libertyblitzkrieg.com does not appear to be hosted at WordPress.com.
This support forum is for blogs hosted at WordPress.com. If your question is about a self-hosted WordPress blog then you’ll find help at the WordPress.org forums.
If you don’t understand the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org, you may find this information helpful.
If you forgot to include a link to your blog, you can reply and include it below. It’ll help people to answer your question.

Apologies to mr. supportbot, but although the blog is self-hosted, the issue is with a wordpress.com thing that the site interacts with via the Jetpack plugin. So if there are any happiness engineers trolling around in here, this is related to the follower issue from yesterday and we are seeing a smaller number of followers after the issue vs. before. I am wondering if there is any reasonable explanation for the discrepancy.
Thanks!

Also note that the Jetpack forum is at WordPress.org http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.org, click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post there.
If you can’t find help at either one then you can file a jetpack support ticket here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/?jetpack=needs-service
