Followers not counted on front page

    I really hope someone answers these with a good answer.

    For this past 3/4 months I have been having problems with followers numbers.
    I’m told by email and the blog tells me in the stats I have a certain number followed, but when I go to the front page they are not all added to the total, this past 2 weeks it’s gone into reverse I’m losing numbers, to-day I lost 10 from the total.

    Hi @dribblingpensioner, your follower stats include followers from connected social media, so any fluctuations in those numbers would appear in the follower count as well. Sometimes we’ll see people lose numbers when they “clear out facebook” or even disconnect a service. Could that be the case here?

    I’m connected to facebook, twitter and tumblr and I have not cleared or disconnected anything.
    I will keep a close eye on those three next week and come back to you if I may.
