Followers not getting notifications

  My followers by emails are not getting notifications about new post on their mails. What can i do?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I’ll tag this thread for Staff assistance. Will you please provide a couple of usernames for those WordPress.com bloggers who did not receive the emails as well as a couple of email addresses for those who do not have WordPress.com accounts? The software will redact ie. HIDE the email addresses so only Staff can see them. After you do that subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

  Here we go again! Once again, (this is about the fourth time I’ve reported this) I am not getting the notification that my article posted! I checked my settings and found that it had been turned off, however, I am not the one turning it off. This is getting VERY annoying and tiresome! Why are my settings being changed without my knowledge or permission!

  Hi there!

  @mjaragundig – I just did a spot check of your followers and our records show that emails were sent out for your latest post. Is there someone specific who did not receive your post?

  @erniecarrasco – There’s no way to disable the email notifications for your followers. Can you tell me what site you’re having trouble with and which setting your referring to?

  Yes! Me. I subscribe to my own blog to ensure that I get the email notifications, plus it allows me to forward the notification to my email list.

  When I didn’t receive my notification, I went to my personal settings and found that notifications for my own blog had been turned off, and it hadn’t been turned off by my. This is not the first time this has happened. I can only assume that someone who has access to my account is doing it, but it’s not me.

  I can assure you that we do not change your notification preferences. If you are concerned that someone else has access to your account, please change your password immediately. Here are some tips on creating a strong password:

  I also highly recommend using two step authentication. You can learn more about this and how to set it up here:

  Hi, yes (email visible only to moderators and staff) and (email visible only to moderators and staff) said they were not getting the email notification.

  Thanks for the email addresses. I just checked our logs and we sent emails to both of them about 15 hours ago for your latest post. Can you have them check their Spam folders?

  Also, if they can contact us themselves we may be able to help more. You can give them a link to this thread and they’ll be able to post. I’ll be notified of any follow ups here as well. :)
