Followers not receiving e-mail notifications

  My blog is private. Users have reported that they are not getting e-mail notifications about new posts, even though they signed up to receive them. Please advise.

  Hi there,

  I’m sorry to hear that your readers were not receiving any notifications! Were they added before or after your blog was set to private? I ask because anyone who was added after it was set to private would not get any notifications, and now that I see that you have reset your blog to public, and of those who had access to your blog will need to refollow it in order to get notifications.

  Thank you for your help. Initially, the blog was set to private and required users to be invited to view the blog. They received notifications about one post but not the next. That is what led me to open up the site.
