followers not showing

  I have been getting several emails that state I have new email followers to my blog but my follower numbers don’t change when I look at the site (and I can’t see the new followers listed). If this happened once or twice I wouldn’t think much of it but it’s been happening fairly frequently and not sure what the reason is. It’s happening at least two or three times a day right now.

  Hi there,

  The random @outlook.com email addresses that have been following you are spam. We are working on blocking those, and at the same time removing the ones that make it past our filters as we detect them, which is why they’re not showing up in your followers list.
