Followers not showing correctly

  On my blog, under ‘Subscriptions’ in Site Stats, where it shows ‘My Followers’, my wordpress.com followers aren’t showing correctly: although I have 8, the site says that I only have 1. When new people sign up, the number still stays at 1.

  The count of email-only followers shows correctly.

  The error also tracks through to the front-facing part of my blog, where the total number of followers (wordpress.com + email-only) is calculated as if there is only 1 wordpress.com follower.

  I’m using the Nisarg theme.

  Can anybody help please?
