Followers now just Email ones, not total ones

  The number of my blog followers dropped to include only email followers. My total number as shown when I click on “Blog Followers” is 227, but my home page and my Stats page both only show “140” which is merely the number of those subscribed by email. How can I get the overall, accurate number to show? Thank you.
