Followers of my blog
-
I only want friends of mine to see my blog. Am I understanding correctly that someone who wants to read my blog has to be approved by me first before they have access to my blog? How does this work? Do I email my friends with the blog address and then they access it that way? Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The only way to achieve that it to make the blog visibility private as everyone with internet access can view any public blog. See option 3 here http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/ to change your blog visibility setting to private.

If you only want your friends to see your blog, you will need to change your site visibility in order to do so. To do this, you will need to go into Settings. It is on the left side of your Dashboard page at the very bottom. Once you find this, you will need to click on the ‘Reading’ section. When the page for the Reading section has loaded, scroll down the page until you see the Site Visibility options. Choose the option that reads: “I would like my site to be private, visible to only users I choose.” You will then save these changes. Once this is done, I believe you can send out invitations to the select individuals you want to see your blog and they will be the only ones who can view it. To invite followers, go to this link

Hope this is helpful,

Ten minutes after I provided the correct answer above, as I have been doing for over seven years now, you schmoozed into this thread parroting what already posted above, with an added signature promoting your own blog at the end of your comment. That behavior demonstrates you were focused on promoting your own blog and not on providing any actual help as it had already been delivered.
The inclusion of the “Hope this was helpful” was an insult to our intelligence. Only fools are open to pandering from self serving opportunists. We are not fools here at WordPress.com and that kind of opportunistic behavior will not be tolerated so stop it.
