Followers on your blog

  Hi guys,
  I am new to all of this! Please can someone tell me, do you have to have a WordPress account to follow a WordPress blog? Say for example my mom wanted to follow my blog but she doesn’t have an account, how can she follow or subscribe?

  Hey broadtribe,

  If you do not have a WordPress.com account, you can still follow blogs!

  After clicking on the Follow button, a dialog box will pop up asking for the email address where new blog posts should be sent.

  Be sure to click on the confirmation link in the email that we send you. Until you’ve confirmed your subscription request, you won’t receive email notifications for new posts and updates.
