Followers Transferring With Premium Upgrade

  I am considering upgrading my WordPress site to the premium plan for a custom domain. I want to make sure that all of my current wordpress followers will transfer over to the new domain if I do this. Will my followers still be linked to my blog or will they have to re-follow the new domain?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I’m not exactly sure if the follow automatically or not, but in the event they don’t, they can be moved by the staff..

  If you want to move your site’s subscribers and followers over to another WordPress.com site that you own, you can contact us, and we’ll take care of it in a jiffy.

  According to staffmember @gemmacevans…

  Upgrading to a Personal plan will not cause you to lose followers or content. Adding a custom domain will only change your site’s address; all your content stays the same.
