  Does someone reading a blog have to sign into WordPress in order to follow a blog, like a post or comment on it?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  1) only if the blogger has not used the “Follow by email” widget
  2) yes
  3) only if the blogger has chosen to restrict commenting to people with WP.com accounts OR if you are trying to comment using an email that has a WP.com account registered to it.
