following a blog via wordpress

  For my company’s blog, I created a signup link through mailchimp for people to sign up for updates; however, I see that people can still follow me via WordPress. I wanted to avoid having them follow the blog this way because of the lack of customization in those emails. I turned off the follow option in the footer, but it’s still an option if you’re logged in. Is there a way to turn that off? Thanks.
