Following a Page on my blog.

When I publish a new page it doesn’t go to my followers. Why not? Blogs do, but pages don’t?

Pages do not have RSS Feeds. They are only for static content that rarely, if ever, changes. https://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/

What is an RSS feed? I would like my pages to go out as I publish them. How do I do that?

It seems that I’ll have to write a post to announce that I’ve written a page. I understand the difference between pages and posts. It would have been helpful that WordPress specifically stated that pages don’t go out to followers when published. I’m currently sharing a new page with followers that I have on Facebook or Facebook Groups. I had no idea that the rest of my followers are in the dark until I realized yesterday that my husband wasn’t getting my pages on his email – he doesn’t have a Facebook account, same as many of my followers. Thanks for your help.
