  In my followers section, what does the little green circle by each subscriber mean? It either has a + or a – in the green circle. Is a + a follower? Does a – mean I’ve unsubscribed them? Can’t find an explanation anywhere. Also, there is no place for plugins on my dashboard. I’m using Freshy. How do I get plugins on my site? Do I use text widgets? Thanks.

  Those are actually controls for you. A + means you can click it to follow their blog, a – means you’re already following their blog and can unsubscribe.

  We don’t allow plugins on WordPress.com for security reasons. Plugins are a feature only available for self-hosted blogs provided through WordPress.org.
