How do I tell users how to follow my blog? I have some followers, but I don’t see a follow button on my blog.
I checked your site and noticed you have the “Subscribe to blog via email” section in your sidebar.
You may want to adjust the wording to “Follow this blog” or something similar and the button label to “Follow” since this block handles email subscribers (non-WordPress.com users) and WordPress.com users 😊
To achieve this, please follow these steps:
- Log in to your WordPress.com dashboard
- Navigate to Appearance → Widgets
- Expand the “Sidebar Right” section
- Click on the Subscriber block
- Adjust the text for the “Widget title for non-followers” field to “Follow this Blog“
- Adjust the text for the “Follow Button Text” to “Follow“
💡 Remember to update the changes by clicking the “Update” button (top-right).
Additionally, you can enter some wording for WordPress.com users, but it’s not required 😊
