  I used to follow blogs and would receive notifications via email. This no longer happens so I visited the help page which directed me to hit the follow button. I don’t see a follow button. I went to the readers page which come up as blank with no options to see or add the blogs I want to follow. Please help. What can I do?

  You will not see a follow button in your Admin bar on any site that is is not hosted by WordPress.COM.

  Thanks for your response.

  I have been to the guide http://en.support.wordpress.com/following/ . It is there that it says to select the follow button. My blog is with WordPress but I can’t locate follow button anywhere.
  You also suggested that I see Follow a Blog Not on WordPress.com http://en.support.wordpress.com/following/#follow-a-blog-not-on-wordpress-com but I’m trying to follow WordPress blogs not other ones. I’m so sorry. I’m totally confused. I had been able to select somewhere the option to follow blogs, or to be notified when a new post came from them and I’m still able to do this with a couple of blogs but not another couple that I was being notified for. If you could provide more information I’d be so grateful. Thanks.

  Is there a black or dark gray bar across your screen, below the address bar and any other toolbars present at the top of the screen?
