  Hi,

  Since I have been running my blog I have a widget to allow people to follow it. As part of that it tells users how many other people are following the site which is an aggregation of people who follow via WordPress plus Facebook likes plus Twitter followers.

  I’ve just noticed that the figure currently showing excludes my Twitter followers – thus the great majority of them.

  When I look at Settings / Sharing everything looks ok; both Facebook and Twitter appear to be connected to my accounts but I did have a problem with a post yesterday. I scheduled it and despite clicking on Twitter within the Publicise section, that tick, well, unticked itself and wouldn’t turn on despite me trying this process several times.

  The post went live, it was publicised on Facebook but not on Twitter, so I had to manually copy and paste that onto my Twitter feed.

  Any thoughts on this issue?

  The number here https://wordpress.com/my-stats/?blog_subscribers ought to include all your Publicize followers from all social networks. That’s why I typed modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for Staff help.   Hi there,

  Thanks for the info on modlook.

  When I click the stats link you supplied above it shows just the actual blog subscribers and does not include my social media followers – thus the problem is as first outlined.

  Can you try re-connecting Twitter as outlined in this guide?
