  People are having difficulty becoming followers of my blog – whether by using the widget or responding to an invitation. Some people who previously followed seem to have disappeared from the list. Some people who I try to invite come up as already following, but don’t appear on my list. How do I fix this??

  You have password protected your posts and that means that only those with the password can read them or receive them. In other words you have limited the ability to read, receive or even share your posts with others.

  Your wordpress.com subscribers are found here https://wordpress.com/my-stats/?blog_subscribers

  You can also use: https://NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=stats

  *replace NAME_OF_BLOG in that URL with the actual name of your site.

  Note that the title there includes Publicize followers from social networks. https://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/

  If you need Staff help type the missing email addresses of subscribers here in the normal format for email address and the software will redact or hide them so only Staff can read them). Then modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for a Staff follow-up.   Not all my posts are protected.

  I can see a list of 87 email followers and another 11 WordPress followers. But I’m hearing from people who though they were followers and didn’t get the latest unblocked post and others who are having a tough time getting in as a follower.

  One would be/has been follower is (email visible only to moderators and staff) She’s IT savvy and still struggling.

  @nalaniwahine I checked on the user you mentioned; she has a pending subscription. So she’s received a follow confirmation email (in fact you sent three; our logs show her server accepted them all) but she has not clicked the confirmation link to follow yet.
