Following the site
-
I’ve been using WordPress for years and I’m happy with how it works. There is one area that I’d like to point out could use improvement — the Follow button.
I have watched it move around the screen making it hard for people to figure out how to follow my site. Currently you have it at the bottom of the ‘page’. However, when using the word page, it means scrolling waaayyy down to find the button.
I’ve actually talked to people on the phone trying to help them sign up and THAT has been difficult for some.
My suggestion is to place the follow button at the top of the site in an obvious place — not just for WordPress users, but the general public. I’ve had reads in as many countries as 81..! (I can’t seem to find that stat visible any longer.?)
Any help you can provide would be appreciated. Thanks
Phil

Hi Phil,
you can add the follow button to any widget area – some themes may only have this area at the footer. If this is your case and you’d like to have the follow button in some other area of your site, try adding it directly to your posts by using the block
Subscription form.
You will see that you can enable the option toShow total subscribersthere.
Hope it helps :)
