Font bug in my site title (heading)
-
Hi,
As you can see when you browse http://www.icastica.com/ the heading ‘Icastica’ seems to load twice. The first time with what probably was the default font and (a fraction of second later) the same text with the font I chose.
I wonder how we can fix that because it is a really annoying.
I would appreciate your help to solve this.

Hi there! I only saw one font in the heading when I visited your site (I watched it load twice just to be sure!). Maybe try clearing the cache of your browser and see if the issue goes away for you?
Hope that helps!

Hi Elena
If it’s any help: I see exactly what you mean and I have the same problem: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/twentyseventeen-title-font

I saw it on yours manuschwendener, but don’t see it on icasticachoreography’s site. I saw this answer on the other forum thread…
WordPress display’s text in the theme’s default font first. This way, people can start reading your content before the custom font loads, instead of waiting while looking at a blank page. This might mean that there’s a flash of a different font before the page finishes loading, but we think overall this is better for folks on slower connections than seeing a blank screen.
This CSS snippet will display a blank screen instead.
.wf-loading body { visibility: hidden; } -
I don’t mind so much that the title flashes the first time I go to the site, although it doesn’t look very professional – but it’s happening after each click in the menu.
(And showing a blank page instead is not better, no.)
