Font Change
-
After the theme developers made changes, I am now having issues with my font. It has been changed to something thicker and it looks too bold. I need it to be how it was before – thinner, basically. Any chance I could get some help with this please? I’m not self hosted, don’t have plugins (before anyone suggests that lol).
Someone help please?
Thanks

Hi there! Hmm… I’m not seeing anything in that recent change that would’ve changed the fonts, so not sure what may have changed on your end yet.
You can change fonts in Customize > Fonts, if there is one you’ll like better. Maybe Lato or Open Sans? Those are both a bit thinner than your current one.
Or since you have Custom Design and can add CSS, you could lighten the color if it’s the black that you’re not loving. For example, if you paste this in Customize > CSS, your text will be a dark gray:
.entry-body { color: #2f4f4f; }Note: You can change the #2f4f4f to any other color hex code to make it whatever color you want. I like browsing for colors here: color-hex.com.
Did either of those options make it better? Let me know how it goes!

Hi :) I prefer the font I have now – I just needed it to be thinner. Just wish there were more options for font. I think I’ll just stick with the one I have for now. The code provided only changed the photo captions for some reason. But not to worry, I don’t really want grey font.
Thanks a lot for your help though!

Ah, okay. You’re welcome. Hope you find a font you love in there! :)

Thanks. I’m very fussy over font and I don’t like most of them, unfortunately. I will do! Thanks again!
