Your theme has been designed to display specific fonts. They are not the same fonts you see in the post editor when creating a post or page.
If you are into fiddling about with font families, sizes and colors in each and every post you make by using the Text editor (HTML editor) then you can change it in the body text in posts and pages only.
These are 3 ways to change fonts on WordPress.com blogs.
(1) Changing font families, colors and size in text in posts or pages either post by post or page by page by coding into the Text ie. HTML editor. http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/07/11/formatting-text-pt-5/
(2) Changing font colors in text in posts or pages either post by post or page by page using the #4 icon (Select text color – change the text color) in Row 2 the Visual editor. http://en.support.wordpress.com/visual-editor/#row-2
(3) Changing all font families, colors and sizes throughout the whole blog by purchasing an annually renewable Custom Design upgrade and using Typekit Fonts with Staff support.

It will not change. I see that every paragraph is “paragraph” selected. I still see the differences when I do preview.
Can you take a look and see what I mean? -
I’m a Volunteer and I do not have backend access to blogs. If you are copying and pasting from for example Microsoft WORD and you are failing to do that in the correct manner (see below) that could be your problem.
Microsoft Word is a word processing program that’s not compliant with web standards. The result of copy and pasting from Microsoft Word into the Tiny MCE editor in WordPress blogs can be unexpected, and contain a lot of junk formatting code that’s not compliant, unless you know how to use the built-in features in the Visual editor for using Word cleanly. http://en.support.wordpress.com/visual-editor/#pasting-text
Go here and enable this > Settings > Writing
Formatting
_ WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically
“save changes”If that’s the case then I recommend using Windows Live Writer for posting to your blog > http://en.support.wordpress.com/xml-rpc/windows-live-writer/

I’ll tag this thread for a Staff follow-up. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

Fixed… I was able to choose each odd paragraph and click on the “remove formatting” button and that cleared the fonts up and now they are all consistent. THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
