Font Color
-
The font color on the contact page where readers can share their name, email, and message is white and unable to be visibly seen. Yet, when I go to customizer and try to change the font color, the only color I can change is the color to the main page. I’d like to change the font color to black so it can be visible when a reader is typing their information. Any help is appreciated! Thank you!

Hi there,
It looks like this issue is restricted to if you have a darker background colour set for your theme – the font colour on your site automatically changes when you do this to maintain a proper contrast level, but this is causing the form input colour to also change. That shouldn’t happen.
I’ve reported this to our theme developers to fix. In the meantime, if you set a lighter background for your site the input text will be visible.

Howdy!
Thanks for bringing this bug to our attention. We’ve made a fix, and you should now be able to see the correct text colors in forms when using Lodestar. :)
Cheers,

Thank you everyone, however, the color on the contact page is still white in front of a white background. If the colors were fixed internally, is there anything I need to do to make sure the change is applied to my site?

Hi @iamjessicalianna, ah you’re right, we needed to clear cache for your site. You’re all set now. :)
