Font Color

  As of Tuesday (06/06/2017) morning, I was able to check the font color of the text, Now I am unable to change the font color. Please explain what has happened. This is one of the MAJOR reasons why I will not upgrade to a paid version because those making changes to WordPress.com fail to notify people of the changes or even ‘ask’ for recommendations. They just make the changes without communicating them to those using WordPress.com.

  I am so frustrated with WordPress for their ‘lack’ of professionalism and communication.

  Hi,
  I just want to make sure which text color you are referring to.
  You are using the theme that is constantly updated by its author and WordPress.com has no intention to change any of your settings.

  If you want to customize the text eg. the content text links you can use Additional CSS customizer from your panel (https://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/editing-css/) and add there the following style:

  .post a{
      color: #00ff00;
  }

  I hope that this will help.

  Thank you for your feedback.

  Based on what you shared about the theme I am using being constantly updated by the author, may I get the authors name and email address so I can communicate to the author about what is going on with the editor? Since I am using the author’s theme, it would help him to know what is going on with his theme.

  It can be one of the reason as you not updated it to paid version as some of the functionality been locked. You can customize it from your panel (http://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-easily-add-custom-css-to-your-wordpress-site/).

  what you would like to style? If you would like to style all text on your site, you can use this.
  body {
  color: #000000;
  }
  If you would like to style just your headings the use this
  h1,h2,h3,h4,h5 {
  color: #000000;
  }
  If you would like to style just your paragraphs, then use this.
  p {
  color: #000000;
  }
