Font Color Changed Itself

  Could use some help please – I had put a few words in a post in red, and days later the entire post font was red. I’ve taken out the red code, but the red is still there. Any thoughts?

  It’s the more tag in your latest post that is separating the color span tags. Always put a more tag on a separate line, and never nested in another tag such as a color tag, or other formatting such as bold or italics. And never put a more tag within a blockquote or an ordered or unordered list.

  First thing I would do is go to settings > writing and select “WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically” and then click “save changes.”

  Next, open your latest post and right before the more tag, place your cursor and hit return/enter. Then, highlight the more tag and take off the red color. Then click the “update post” button.

  Also, open each post you have with a more tag that is at the end of a paragraph, and put it on a separate line between paragraphs.
