Font Color Post Carousel
-
Is there a way to change the color of the font on the post carousel? My header colour is a dark blue, but the dark overlay on the carousel makes it really difficult to see. I also can’t change CSS because I’m on the free plan.

Hmm, I’m surprised it’s dark blue. That may be a bug, and I’m not sure whether it’s with your theme, or with the block.
We’ll do some testing and let you know what we find.

My default header colour is dark blue, but even when I changed it to white, the post carousel still made the titles a dark grey… I think a good option would be to set the default to white, that way it’ll always be easy to see. Thank you for your response, I appreciate the effort and look forward to an update!

We’ve reported the bug to our developers, so now we have to wait for someone to investigate this, but we’ll try to update you as soon as we know anything more.

Hi! I just heard they’ve got a fix in for this, so you should see an improvement as soon as that’s committed (likely today-ish). Cheers!

Hey there! I’m not sure if it’s an error on my part, but the font colour is still a dark blue. Is there something I can do to fix this?
-
Hmm. Can you take a screen shot of what you see? Add that to the site’s media library where we can take a closer look.
Might be worth clearing your browser cache once as well to rule that out:

Let me know if the link doesn’t work!
The font colour is dark blue. My regular header colour is also dark blue, but even when I change it to white, the post carousel darkens the letter colour. It makes it really hard to see.

Sorry about that!
I’ve asked our developers to take another look: https://github.com/Automattic/newspack-blocks/issues/548#issuecomment-678482967
