Font colors and links
-
Hi,
How can I change my font color? I just paid in order to be able to customize such things as colors, and, while I’m now happy with my background color, my font color seems to be uneditable. I realize that I could resort to the CSS editor, but the editor doesn’t seem to allow adjustments to the CSS, and I am not comfortable with designing my CSS from the ground, up. As well, building my own CSS would make my recent purchase of the Cocoa theme a pretty useless expense.
Second problem: Links. I would have preferred for the link ‘Home’ to direct the user back to my website, not to my main WordPress blog page, but it appears that your system doesn’t allow that link to be edited or redirected. Instead, I created a new link, ‘Image Bank’, for this purpose and intended for it to go right next to ‘Home’. The problem is that I not only don’t see it where I’d wanted it, I don’t see it anywhere. I’ve added the Links widget to my Header. I’ve confirmed in my dashboard that the ‘Image Bank’ link exists, but I see no links other than ‘Home’ on my blog. Where did the link go? Am I going about this all the wrong way? Thanks.

Hi there,
I’m sorry to hear that you’re frustrated, and to see that you have now cancelled your Custom Design upgrade.
I took a look at your site, and it looks like you have removed all of your content at this point. Were you still looking for help? Did you want to keep your theme? If not, I can cancel it and refund you for the cost as long as it is within the first 30 days after purchase.
Let me know!

Hi,
I needed a completely external blog which I dress up to look like my website. This was proving impossible without additional cost. In the end I’ve finally made Tumblr work for my purposes. Ideally, I needed a blog which my PhotoShelter site would exploit, and they currently only support WordPress.org and Tumblr.
Points to you, though. While Tumblr, on paper, was the easiest and cheapest option for me, I couldn’t get my Flickr-fed images to show up. I combed the internet for any help to my problem, but I only found other users with the same problem, always going unanswered. I finally emailed Tumblr, but I’ve not heard from them. Good thing for me that I figured it out on my own.
So, thanks for your response!
Cheers,

Sorry to hear that you’re running in to trouble there as well. I went ahead and removed the premium theme from your account and refunded you for it. If in the future you decide to give WordPress.com another try, you can repurchase it. I just don’t want you to be stuck having paid for something which you don’t need or use.
Let me know if you need anything else going forward!
