Font Colour on Free (or Personal level upgrade)

The basic font colour and weight for the free WordPress site is very poor for visual accessibility. It doesn’t allow for changes in the edit mode. Would the ‘Personal’ level upgrade allow this?

  • Hi there,

We have a number of themes that were designed specifically according to the standards set for accessibility. You can find those themes here:

    https://wordpress.com/themes/filter/accessibility-ready/

To edit the font color of any theme you need to add custom CSS to your site, and that is only possible if you have the Premium or Business Plan.

However, you can achieve the same effect for yourself by adding a browser extension like Stylish to your browser, and then you can use CSS in that extension to automatically change the appearance of websites you view in that browser.
