  Is there a way that I can change the font colour on the header page so that the Header Titles stand out more?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi gazza337

  I’d be happy to help you with this. You can achieve this by editing the CSS of your site. Please note that in order to change the CSS of a site, you will need to have a Premium plan or above. If you don’t have the appropriate plan, you can go here to upgrade.

  You can change the font color of the site title by going to the CSS customizer here and inputing the following code:

  For the site title use:

  .site-title a {
  	color: #000000;
  }

  For the site description use:

  .site-description {
  	color: #000000;
  }

  Just change the hex color to whatever you’d like. :)

  Hi @gazza337!

  I’d be happy to help!

  I noticed that you have the free WordPress plan which does not allow for custom colors or design so in order to do so, you must upgrade.

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-css/

  But! You are not without options, you can always change the background photo, the theme or the background color.

  Thanks for the advice, I am new to all of this so it appears that I will have to look into an upgrade.

  @gregariousbadger, thanks for the ‘free’ options advice, I have considered it but quite like the picture I have as my header and have done a little research, not a lot admittedly, into it and wanted what I thought was an appropriate background.
  It’s another consideration and maybe the feedback I receive will reflect a need for me to change it.
  Only time will tell on that one, as I said I am new to this but suppose we are the slaves to our audience in a way.
