Font colours not displaying

  I have a style on my blog where certain words and names have been accented in a different colour up until now. With my current post, all I get is a bright yellow highlight flash. There is no longer an option to change text colour. Where has this option gone, or why has it been removed? The colours I set for primary, secondary and option colour are still available in the customization area, but don’t seem to be transferring over to the blog post. In draft, it looks as if the text will change colour when live but then all I see on a preview or live post is an ugly yellow flash. What’s happened, please?

  Hi there,

  I see that on this post the following text has a yellow highlight:

  

  I have removed the yellow highlight so the text is the standard format. To explain, there is a bug (reported by other site owners) where this yellow highlight is being added by mistake.

  Our engineers are looking into this issue and should have it fixed as soon as possible. Out of curiosity is this happening anywhere else on your site or only in the post you mention above?

  When I look at the editing page for any of my other posts, the highlight is there as well as the colour change, although the highlight isn’t visible on the published version, only the colour change.

  On the menu to change the text colour, the word Highlight is now displayed instead of what used to be Text Colour.

  This is the only post I’ve seen this yellow flash on, previous posts were written before September 25, despite the ‘publication dates’ being earlier than that. So it’s something that’s changed in the last couple of weeks only.

  Yes, this is a recent issue that has already been reported by many other users. Our development team is working on a fix and we’ll update you here when it is fixed.

  Hi there,

  I just wanted to let you know this issue has now been fixed, but please let us know if you spot any more issues.

  For any posts/pages that were affected by the bug, edit it and make a small change like adding a period or a space, and update, and the editor should roll back the highlights automatically.
