font differences

  My fist paragraph (on home page) has different font than the rest of the paragraphs. How can I get it to equal the others?

  You are copying and pasting from MS word which doesn’t speak HTML. Open the post for edit, select all the text in the post, then click the “remove formatting” button on the lower tool bar in the visual editor and save the post or page, and it should fix things for you. Do this for each thing (page or post) on which you have copied and pasted from Word.

  Windows Live write would be a great option for you
  since it has similar controls.
