@font-face with custom design
-
I recently purchased a web font from a custom designer, and I want to be able to use it with my WordPress site. Unfortunately, it seems that WordPress.com strips src: sections of @font-face declarations in my added CSS section.
(I also can’t upload my fonts for WordPress to host, unfortunately. :( )
All this is making me think I should probably not use WordPress.com, and instead host my own site.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

WordPress isn’t the issue really, it is browser support or how each browser supports it, or which versions of a browser supports it.
Even if you can declare a fancy font it does not mean everyone is going to see that fancy font. Browsers have a long way to go yet.
