Hello there,
can you help me to change my font family into RALEWAY ? I did it with CSS last time when i used LATO but now when I want to change it it will not display.

Hi Sophia,
You can change your theme’s fonts via the Fonts panel of the WordPress.com Customizer. Select Raleway from the dropdown menus there and you should be good to go. :)
Let me know if you have further questions on that.

I’d suggest you try Raleway Thin instead of “Extra Light” as there seems to be an issue with that variation of the font. I tested it on my site and it looks very similar to the “Extra Light” variant.
I will also report the issue with Raleway Extra Light to our developers and we’ll keep you updated here.

After applying Raleway Thin, could you then try re-selecting Extra Light and see if it sticks? It seems to be working on my test site. Thanks!

so i tried it and its working perfectly for the page title “Sophia Kohr” but i am trying to get the same for the blog title “Knits & Laces” . On the customizer it works but when i safe it and go on my website its shown thick again

In your custom CSS, try changing this:
.blog .entry-title a { font-family: "Raleway",sans-serif; font-size: 42px; font-weight: 100; }to this:
.blog .entry-title a { font-family: "raleway-1",sans-serif; font-size: 42px; font-weight: 100; }Change all other references in your custom CSS from “Raleway” to “raleway-1” as well. Let me know how it goes!

oh wow it worked !! thank you! The only thing now is that the meta below the blogtitles are not black but grey or something. can you help me to change that ? or to make it a little bigger ?
-
Great!
For the meta text, give this a try and let me know how it goes. You can adjust the font size as you like:
.wf-active .entry-footer, .wf-active .entry-meta { color: #000; font-size: 12px; }.wf-active .entry-meta a, .wf-active .entry-footer a, .wf-active .entry-meta a:visited, .wf-active .entry-footer a:visited, .wf-active .entry-author .author-title { color: #000; } -
it does work too ! Thank you! One more thing. The page title “sophia Kohr” Can I have the thickness of how it is shown in the customizer. so a little thicker ?
-
You can get it looking like the Customizer preview (which actually shows Lato) with this:
.wf-active .site-title a { font-family: "lato",sans-serif; font-weight: 600; } -
-
-
You can tweak the font weight from 600 to a lower multiple of a hundred – for example, 400.

oh no i meant the BLOG TITLE so “KNIT & LACE” for example. not the page title.
No, since 100 — your current font-weight — is as thin as you can go.
You can read more about font-weight here:
