font HUGE all of a sudden

Have never had this problem. The front page appears HUGE on my screen at least. Suggestions?

Typically this is caused by an open HTML tag in one of your posts caused by copying and pasting. Go to Settings > Writing and select “ ___ WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically” and then scroll down and click “Save Changes.”
Now, starting with your latest post, open it in the editor, make one minor change such as adding a space and then deleting it, and then click “Update Post.” Check your blog and see if it is back to normal.

Hmm…well, that didn’t work, but maybe it will on the next one. I’ll take a look at the settings in my word doc that I copy and paste from. Thanks for your insight!

WORD is not web compliant. It is a word processing program. It is not a blog editor and using it always leads to a mess unless you use the instructions I linked to above.
What you need to do is edit the latest post and in the HTML editor locate the problem and remove it. It’s could be an open <div> tag for example. If it’s still “messed up” then open the next post and in the HTML editor do the same thing post by post until it goes back to normal.
If you have been messing about with the format for Headings (1st icon , Row 2 of the Visual editor) then I suggest you edit the latest post, highlight everything in the visual editor window and from the “format” pulldown at the left end of the lower tool bar, 1st icon , Row 2 of the Visual editor select “paragraph.” Typically that will straighten things out.

Yeah, weird, I started my blog on Feb. 16, have posted almost every day (writing in word and copying and pasting — I know, I know, call me a luddite!) and just today it did this. I will look at those settings.
