Font in Mystique

  I am using the Mystique theme on my blog: thekams.wordpress.com in Firefox, and I’ve noticed that for a while now the font has been extremely faint and hard to read (it never used to be). I checked in IE and the font is crisp and clear, like I was used to seeing. I’m wondering if this is a problem with how the theme is viewed in Firefox? It is also quite possible that something is wrong with my browser itself, though Mystique is the only theme with which I have this problem with the font. I even checked out the design upgrade and changed the font to see if it would still be faint – it wasn’t. Any font I changed it to appeared crisp in the preview.

  I checked in Firefox (and several other browsers) and the font color isn’t faint. What version of Firefox do you have? Do you have any special add-ons that change style or something like that?

  Also, if you have access to one, try viewing your site in on a different computer. Monitors and video display systems can also have an affect on rendered colors and contrast.

  I’m not sure what version of Firefox I have and I have no add-ons at all. If it’s clear for everyone else than it must be either my browser or computer since even the theme demo font shows up like my site (to me, at least). But, as long as it’s readable that’s what matters I suppose.

  I’m using Firefox 6.01. and the font color isn’t faint.

  I agree with thekams, I find the font uneasy on the eyes. I have viewed it in IE, FF and Chrome and it is horrible in all 3.

  I’m looking at http://thekams.wordpress.com/ in Firefox, Safari and Opera and Chrome on my Mac and in all of them the fonts look the same and there is virtually no difference in the readability or the color of the font. They are all crisp and clean.

  Same thing to happened to me. The font just changed all of sudden. In all the browser, its faint and hard to read >.<

  On this site, http://sammy48.wordpress.com/ , in Firefox, Safari and Opera and Chrome on my Mac the font color is all the same and not faint.

  I don’t know. Mystique theme became all weird with the fonts, so I changed the theme because it was hard for me to read anything.
