font not correct when opening safari and chrome

    hello there! I’m creating my first WordPress website and I’ve come across a problem that’s very frustrating

    I can’t seem to fix the font and background of my website when i visit the site on google chrome and safari. I’ve cleared my cache on both browsers + tried different fonts but it seems to do nothing. When I edit the site, the font and colour of the background is as I want it to be, however, when I visit the site on a browser, the font becomes courier new and the background becomes grey

    Not sure what to do!

    Hi there,

    When you visit Appearance > Editor > Styles from the dashboard, you should have encountered the message here:

    So, although you are saving the fonts and colors, those features are locked from the published view until you upgrade from the Creator Plan. The feature to change fonts and colors is part of the Explorer Plan:

    In addition to Custom Fonts, you receive custom CSS, live chat support, Premium Themes, and more.

    If you decide to upgrade plans while in the middle of having another plan, you’ll see an upgrade discount while checking out if you’re eligible:

    WordPress.com Plans [Redirects to Plans]

    Everything will be prorated based on the price difference between plans and the remaining months you have in your monthly subscription.

    To note, I see that the current plan you are on is under a different WordPress.com account. So, if you want to make the upgrade, I would reach out/log into the account that owns the subscription to make that change.
