    Hello, I see that the opacity of the fonts on my slider are decreased. Is there CSS that will bring the opacity to 100%?

    Hi there,

    I checked the site. I don’t think it’s the Opacity. Because I tried changing the opacity in the Chrome Element Inspector. It didn’t work. Because the opacity is probably set to 1 already. (1 being the highest value).

    But when I tried to set the text color to white. It worked. So it’s probably the color of the text that makes you feel that the opacity is decreased :)

    Thank you for your help here!
    I should have used the word text not font. :-)
    I am seeing part of the image through the text which makes me think the opacity isn’t quite solid, but if I can’t change that, perhaps I can find a really nice drop shadow that it truly a shadow and not a mirrored image of the text behind? I would like a drop shadow like Photoshop gives me.
    Is there CSS that could help me with that?

  • The reduced opacity is coming from this part of the theme’s CSS:

    #featured-content, #featured-content a {
        color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.8);
    }

    If you change the opacity to 1(100%) instead of 0.8 (80%) you’ll have full opacity on the slider text:

    #featured-content, #featured-content a {
        color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 1);
    }

    Let me know how it goes.
