Font-problem
-
Dear Support Team,
I know that the primary language focus of WordPress is English, but I find it kind of unfair that most users who do not write in English have to suffer because of the lack of proper fonts (unless they want to purchase the premium CSS-upgrade, but why would they, if English writers do not have to??). I find that ö, ü é, á, í are usually there, but ő and ű, technically never. I would love to use Ideation and Intent, for example, but without ű and ő, it is not really an option. The same applies to several other themes.
I suggest you either design fonts with all regular letters of the Latin alphabet, or if it is not possible, at least enable users to switch off the default font and get a regular, basic font which has all letters. It is not fair to narrow down the list of themes available for users who do not write in English.
Thank you for your attention,
keep up the good work;

I can reproduce the issue and will contact our developers to take a closer look at this. I’ll contact you once I know more.
Thank you!

Could you maybe send me a link of a post or page where you encounter this issue? It’s okay if the post or page is drafted.
Looking forward to your reply.

This issue is theme specific and depends on the font that’s used in this theme. Those fonts (mostly Typekit or Google fonts) don’t include support for all characters. Our theme developers are aware of this issue and will keep it in mind for future features and updates. For now I can only recommend to use a different theme, for example: http://twentyfourteendemo.wordpress.com
Thank you.
