  How can I alter the font size

  In the Customizer’s Fonts panel, you can choose a font and a size from the dropdown menus.

  If you’d like to change the font size of something very specific – say, the Site Title, that can be done with custom CSS. If you let me know which element you’re looking to change, I can help you with the necessary code.
