Font size of Heading

  • Unknown's avatar

    The minimum size of the default theme for the heading on Brunswick means that my heading doesn’t display very well. The final work is split over two lines. I love the Brunswick theme, but I really want my my final word to display as one word. When I am in the customise area, the heading displays perfectly. The problem arises when I look at the published page. I have tried various other fonts, and they all have the same problem. What can I do?

    Hi there! Is it only the site’s title, “Daddy’s gone shooting,” that you want to adjust in size, or the titles of the posts as well? Let me know and I can help find you some code to change your font sizes. Thanks much!

    It is just the title, Daddy’s Gone Shooting.

    If you can help that would be great.

    Thanks

    Hi again! Because you have the Premium upgrade, you can adjust the code to make this change. Here are the steps:

    Click Appearance → Customize in your site’s Dashboard. Then, click CSS in your right-hand menu. In the CSS Revisions box, please paste the following underneath all existing text:

    .site-header .site-title a {
    font-size: .55em;
    }

    Then Save your changes.

    I chose .55em as your font size as it keeps the title from wrapping. The larger the number, the larger the font. You can play with that sizing as you like.

    Let me know if this works out for you. Thanks!
