Font style of the block editor
-
Hello,
I would like it if there was an option to offer to change the font style of the editor. I find it very difficult to work with serif fonts. An option to at least turn serif off or on would benefit people like me.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Depending on the theme that you have activated, you will use either Global Styles or Customize Fonts to change your font. The available custom fonts are limited, so if you want a list more than what is available, it would require the Business or eCommerce Plan to install your own preferred font/font style. Hope that helps!

Hello. Just to confirm – this is for the font in the block editor, correct? Not the blog site font?

That’s for changing the fonts site-wide, the editor does not currently have a way to change font, just the text’s color and size: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/paragraph-block/#typography

That’s what I thought. Your customer service team advised me to post the idea of an option to change the font in the block editor into this Ideas forum in the hopes that maybe it would make it to your development team. Serif fonts are difficult for some people to work with – myself included. Just putting it out there.
