Fonts
-
Hi there,
For some reason, the default fonts are not working for my most current blog post. I’ve tried recreating it, but with no luck. Is there a way I can fix it?
I’m not a coder, so I need to know how to make the adjustments without using code. Any help is so appreciated!
Thanks,

Do you have a link to this particular post that’s not working? If not, how do you mean it’s not working? Looking all around the site, everything reads okay to me on my desktop monitor.
Don’t know if it would help to play around with the Fonts in the Customise menu?

Hi Jason,
Thanks for responding. The fonts on this page are the correct default fonts:
http://77.104.146.245/~wander63/
But the post I just put up is defaulting to different fonts when I used the exact same styles:
http://77.104.146.245/~wander63/category/itineraries/one-day/
I can’t seem to find a place where I can change the fonts themselves, or I would manually override. Is there another way?
Thanks,
Heather -
I’ve put modlook in the Tags area on the right, because I’m out of my depth on this one. I especially don’t understand how you’re getting links like the ones you posted with the ISP number. Curious to see the answer here!

You can use the customiser https://en.support.wordpress.com/customizer/ Have you tried that?
These Google fonts can be used free of charge on any theme.
https://en.blog.wordpress.com/2015/07/31/free-google-fonts/ and you will find them in the customizer https://en.support.wordpress.com/customizer/If you are referring only to the text inside of your posts and pages you can make some changes without an annually renewable upgrade.
For changing font families, colors and size in text in posts or pages either post by post or page by page by coding into the Text ie. HTML editor see http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/07/11/formatting-text-pt-5/
For changing font colors in text in posts or pages either post by post or page by page using the #4 icon (Select text color – change the text color) in Row 2 the Visual editor. http://en.support.wordpress.com/visual-editor/#row-2
To display the second row of icons, first select the toolbar toggle icon at the end of row 1 and click it. https://i0.wp.com/en.support.files.wordpress.com/2009/08/kitchensink.png
Then see here https://en.support.wordpress.com/visual-editor/#text-colorHowever, if you want to make any font changes to blog titles or widget titles then you need the premium upgrade bundle that includes the custom design upgrade in it.
See here for details on purchasing the annually renewable Premium bundle http://store.wordpress.com/plans/premium/ that contains a custom design upgrade required for CSS editing:
Custom design – Frequently Asked Questions

http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/
http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/editing-css/
http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/custom-fonts/Note 1: Once you have the required upgrade you can use this link https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/css-customization#postform so you can create a thread that will appear in the CSS Forum where you will get the help you need with CSS editing.
Note 2: You can also post there prior to purchasing an upgrade to get an answer to whether or not what you want to do can be accomplished via CSS editing.

The site you linked to at http://77.104.146.245/~wander63/ is not a WordPress.com site but a self-hosted WordPress.org site. That site uses a different version of WordPress and of the Affinity theme than your site at http://wildlywanderlust.wordpress.com/, so it won’t work exactly the same.
As I don’t have any access to your self-hosted site’s dashboard it’s also not possible for me to look at your settings to see if anything’s wrong, so I’m afraid there’s not much we can do to help in this forum.
Can you please try posting in the self-hosted forums instead?
https://wordpress.org/support/I can tell you that looking at the source code I can see your latest post is using the Calibri font, while your home page is using the Lora font, and the post has the font specified in inline styling in the HTML itself, which the front page does not have. But without having access to your site’s dashboard I can’t tell how it got that way or how to fix it. Hopefully it points you in the right direction.
