Fonts change for a flash when changing pages

  When going from our news page to the first blog post, about 50% of the time the fonts will flash to the default for my template and then change to the correct font.

  I’ve been doing a lot of work on the css recently and am not sure if this is a new development or if I just noticed it. Thanks as always for the help! This forum is amazing!

  This is intentional as displaying a blank page to your visitors while waiting for fonts to load would not be a good solution Staff have set things up this way.

  Some themes have custom fonts loading by default, and then of course you can add custom fonts as well. There really isn’t a way to make the load times faster, and at certain times, when the internet is busy, or when servers are seeing a heavy load, font load times may be a bit longer. This is something that we are aware of, and currently the way we are doing it is the best solution. We are of course always looking at ways to minimize this, and will continue to work on it. Sorry I don’t have a better answer for you at this time.
