Fonts Changing When You Edit! (Updated)
-
Hi, this goes to all wordpress ‘geeks’ that may help us figure out why wordpress changes the font html.
test this example out guys:
go into the editbox, switch to the HTML area (by clicking the HTML tab) and type in.
<font size=”2″>This is a cool font</font>
THEN, what i want you to do is click the ‘visual’ tab that is right next to the html tab…
THEN, switch back to the ‘HTML’ tab and look at the html, does it look different?
please fix this before i go nuts…

Font size 2, for what it’s worth, should be converted to small, if they are going to do a conversion. There would seem to be a bug in their conversion.
I expect the reasons they have gone with small, etc., is those are standard font sizing values in CSS ( http://www.w3schools.com/css/css_font.asp ).
Font size 1 = x-small
Font size 2 = small
Font size 3 = medium
Font size 4 = large
Font size 5 = x-large
Font size 6 = xx-large -
i know sacred,
but for example if you have ‘Font size 2 = small’ and switch between the HTML and VISUAL tab, it changes back to Font size 2 = x-small everytime. This is really difficult for me as i work with both tabs and everytime i need to go back and change the x-small to small..

My suggestion is to use font size = small then until they get it sorted out. That sticks when you go from html to visual and will give you the same as font size = 2.
