Fonts & Collapsing articles

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hi!

Okay, I’m just now getting to where I am actively using WP. I want the font that is on the original header of Baskerville.. but it keeps resetting to what I had on previous themes. How do I change this? Is there a way to reset to the default theme WITHOUT losing my posts thus far?

Also – on this theme, is there a way to collapse articles so you have to click a “read more” or something of that sort? I just don’t like the full articles posting on the home page.

    Thanks in advance!!

    Hi Korryn,

I can see that you’ve set some custom fonts, which is they theme’s default font is not being used.

To get round this, navigate to the Fonts panel in the WordPress.com Customizer and select the cross next to your custom fonts to remove them. Save your changes, and you will then fall back to the theme’s default font.

Also – on this theme, is there a way to collapse articles so you have to click a “read more” or something of that sort? I just don’t like the full articles posting on the home page.

You could insert a more tag at the point in your post where you’d like to insert a “read more” link. We have information on the more tag, including screenshots of how to add it to a post, here:

Let me know if that helps out or if you have any questions.
