Fonts in Illustratr

  There seems to be the option to change the font in the customize menu of the theme but when I select it, it just mentions Default Theme Font, if you open the menu it’s just blank. Is font customization a payed subscription service only?

  Hi there,

  You need to click where it says “Default font” and then you’ll see a drop down with the different fonts you can select.

  Hi!

  I do click where it says “default font” and the drop down menu opens but it is blank white without any fonts to choose from.

  If the font names aren’t visible, it points to a browser problem.

  Please clear your browser cache and cookies, and also make sure your browser has JavaScript enabled.

  If you’re using Safari, that browser’s private mode can sometimes prevent elements on the screen from loading, so try using a regular browser session instead.

  If none of that works, please check if you can see the fonts if you use a different browser instead.

  Yes, I am using Safari. I tried clearing cache and cookies but this hasn’t made a difference. I’ve now tried it with Firefox and you are correct it does work!

  What version of Safari are you using? I checked on 10.1.1 and the fonts load for me there. If you’re using an older version of Safari, that might be the cause.

  That could definitely be the problem, yes. Older versions of browsers simply can’t read the code that makes WordPress.com go :)
