Fonts look different……

    Hello,

    I am using blix theme for my blog. This blog is in marathi language and the problem I am facing is that on number of marathi wordpress blogs, I have observed different fonts. For example check these three blogs

    1)http://kayvatelte.wordpress.com/
    2)http://chandrashekhara.wordpress.com/
    3)http://disamajikahitari.wordpress.com/

    On my blog, I am getting font like that of the first example, But I would like it to be like the third example. The font used on third example is ‘CDAC-GISTYogesh’ which is a free one.

    Even on mr.wordpress.com page, One can see this font.

    So How do I get this one on my blog? Or is it that I can’t have this font on blix theme?

    Do you know if this text is in a text widget? If so, you could try appending the following

    <span style=”font-family:CDAC-GISTYogesh;”>

    to the front of the widget on your dashboard. I’m no expert at this.

    What do you mean by text in a text widget?

    And where should I append that code you have given me?

    I am not an expert too. :-)

    @saurabhda: Since I mosty have fonts for Western languages on my computer, I can’t see any difference between your first and third examples – both show up in Davanagari. But the difference you see must be because they’re different themes (for latin languages, for example, Monochrome uses Arial while Rubric uses Verdana).

    To change the font of your whole blog, you need the paid CSS upgrade (and knowledge of CSS editing). If you’re not happy with the font used in Blix, why don’t you just switch to another theme?
