Fonts: Menu Color & Font Changes
-
Hello, I’m a bit rusty on my CSS, but my work is finally willing to try it, so I need my site to be perfect.
Am I able to add Avenir (body) and Adobe Garmond Pro (headlines) fonts into my CSS? In addition, it appears I can change all colors except my menu bar and menu bar fonts. Is this true?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi klherault,
I think this should address your second question. Please change those values to make it look pretty.
div.stick { background-color: yellow; } ul.nav-menu { font-family: Courier; }Do you have a page with headlines and text available?

@klherault, we have a collection of custom fonts you can choose from at Appearance > Customize > Fonts. We can specify fonts in CSS, but when we do that, they have to be installed on the visitor’s computer or they won’t show up, and Avenir and Adobe Garamond Pro are not fonts that are installed in all computer systems. If they don’t have them installed, the browser will substitute the standard serif or sans-serif font. The list of fonts that are installed on all computers across all operating systems is actually quite limited. You can get an idea of what is on both Macs and Windows here.
